Admiralty House Museum & Archives can be found at 23 Old Placentia Road in Mount Pearl. It is surrounded by 2.1 acres of beautiful gardens and walkways, this building originally a wireless communications system during the First World War. It was known as H.M. Wireless Station, radio call sign: VO1BZM.
Visitors are welcome to explore our exhibits on their own or with a guided tour. They will learn about early radio communications in Newfoundland, the disaster of the S.S. Florizel, life as a Naval Officer, and the history of Mount Pearl.

The Backland Trail includes 16 kms of prepared walking trails that provide breathtaking views of Placentia Bay, the woodland, wildlife and plants. The AMA added a wonderful tourism product with their recreational vehicle (RV) travel trailer (TT) park, the Argentia Sunset Park. Located on a beautiful grassy hill just pass the main entrance way, it is about two kilometres from the Marine Atlantic Ferry service.
