Mile One Centre
|
Mile One Centre is St. John’s premier sporting and entertainment facility situated in the heart of the downtown core. Mile One Centre has played hosted to national events such as the 2002 Juno Awards and the 2005 Scott Tournament of Hearts and international events such as the 2004 World-Under 17 Hockey Championships and the 2002 AHL All-Star Classic.
Mile One Centre can accommodate over 5,800 seated guests and has exhibition space from 33,000 square feet to 49,000 square feet when using the facilities concourse area.

Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Sports Centre (PowerPlex)

This brand new multi-purpose complex includes space for four regulation basketball courts, seven volleyball courts, seven badminton courts and bleacher seating for approximately 500. The Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Centre provides an excellent arena for hosting regional, national and international events.

Glacier
|
The Glacier, built in 1993, is a three level multi-purpose complex and includes a 85' x 200' ice/floor surface, six dressing rooms, pro-shop, first aid room, referees room, board room, meeting room, snack shop, Crystal Ice viewing room, cafeteria with full kitchen service and standing room viewing, lounge with standing room viewing, twelve viewing booths, a 1,004 fixed seating gallery capacity and a concert capacity of 4000. Operated under a volunteer board of management, the Glacier is the proud host of many community events including: daily recreational skating; sports competitions such as figure skating, ice hockey and gymnastics; trade shows and exhibitions; and family, youth and adult special events and concerts.

King George V Park
|
Situated along the shore of Quidi Vidi Lake, King George the V Park recently went through a $3 million renovation that has seen the latest technology in artificial surface installed and the creation of a new club house. King George V Park can operate eight months of the year, has lighting for night contests and can accommodate up to 6,400 spectators.

St. John’s Arts and Culture Centre
|
The St. John's Arts and Culture Centre was opened on May 22, 1967. The Centre houses a 1,000 seat proscenium main theatre, a 75 seat black box basement theatre, children’s, adult and reference libraries, art galleries and catering services. The St. John’s Arts and Culture Centre is perfect for a more intimate play or production.

Softball Facilities
|
Newfoundland and Labrador has a rich history when it comes to softball. Within the City of St. John’s and the City of Mount Pearl there are over 30 softball diamonds including six lit fields. Pearlgate Track & Field Complex
|
This international standard facility, operated by a volunteer board of management, was constructed in 1988 for the Newfoundland & Labrador Summer Games. It combines the best features for recreation, training, competition and community events. These features include: an eight lane, 400 metre polyurethane surface, concrete throwing circles, polyurethane areas and runways for high jump, long jump, pole vault and javelin. The two story adjacent multi- purpose building includes washroom and shower facilities, first aid room, and storage room. Upstairs the multi-purpose room is can accommodate up to 100 and is available for private rentals, workshops, receptions and more. It has washroom and kitchen facilities and a large patio overlooking the track.
